Godsmack Announce May Concert Tour

The hard rock band Godsmack will begin a concert tour in May (Ticket Broker | Godsmack Tickets) that will primarily include performances at a number of U.S. East Coast venues.

The Grammy-nominated band is set to kick things off with a May 5 performance at Memphis’ Beale Street Music Festival. From there the band will continue on to hit cities in Alabama, Florida, the Carolinas, Georgia, New York and Pennsylvania.

Godsmack is supporting its fourth studio album, “Godsmack IV,” which came out last April. The album — the band’s first in three years — debuted at the top of Billboard’s 200 album chart and produced the hit single “Speak.”

“Godsmack IV” was produced by frontman Sully Erna and engineered by Andy Johns, whose credits include “Led Zeppelin IV,” Van Halen’s “For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge,” and The Rolling Stones’ “Exile on Main Street.”
